There’s nothing like being at the beach at sunset. It’s the most beautiful light, and my favorite time of day. This Fall has been a whirlwind of craziness. Getting used to a new baby and a record number of photo sessions has really worn me down. It reminds me of when I was a kid, and I would be playing outside with my neighborhood friends. I knew it was getting cold and dark, and I was uncomfortable, but I was having so much fun I didn’t want to go in. Then when it was time for bed that night I crashed from such a long day of playing. I’ve had a lot of fun, and have enjoyed it all, but I’m ready for bed now.
This session was my Portraits of Love session. These 3 ladies are missing their soldier who is deployed and away for Christmas. They will now have some pictures to send to him while he’s away. I am still so amazed at the sacrifices that our service men and women make. Of course their families at home pay a huge price too for having them be away. I complain when Tim goes away on business for 1 week. I can’t imagine 6 months or a year.

This was my 3rd session with Angeline and Tony. It all started last year for their maternity session in Thousand Oaks. I can’t believe Kayleen is almost one year old now, and one of the most beautiful little girl I’ve ever seen. We all enjoyed an afternoon at the beach recently.

I’ve been so busy these past couple of weeks getting orders ready and new galleries posted. This time of year is just crazy, but I love it. I love opening up my order packages and see all the Christmas cards of my favorite families. I’m also so happy to get wonderful emails nominating families for my Giving is Awesome free session giveaway. I knew I had some awesome blog readers with big hearts. Now on to the photos. Baby Lila is officially the smallest babies I’ve photographed. As you can see she’s just a tiny little thing even at over 2 weeks old. She was so awake and alert the whole time. What a sweetie she is just like her mom.
These ones make me smile. I can feel the love.
