Did you see the maternity images I posted yesterday? That beautiful couple welcomed Baby J into their home a couple of weeks later. I love visiting my client’s homes when they have a fresh new beautiful baby at home. The hope and love is apparent as I go through the front door. I am always honored to be the one they trust to capture those first baby portraits.
Meet Baby J. He was a dream to photograph. I loved every minute of it.

Johanna works at her family owned nursery that grows the most beautiful flowers. She brought buckets of them along for her maternity session. Jesus was such a good sport helping to cart them around even though he is allergic to them. I love how the flowers add a big pop of color to the images, as well as the personal touch. I also loved how my house smelled divine the week after because they were so kind to give us the flowers.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple on their new little baby J making his debut on my blog tomorrow. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer!

This gorgeous mom-to-be of twin boys was a professional dancer and dance teacher, so the dance studio was the perfect place for her maternity session. I love how personal these are to her life. I’m certain she’ll look back on these in a few years when her boys are growing fast and remember those months of waiting and anticipating their arrival alone while her husband is deployed with the military.
The light is amazing in a dance studio, and although I don’t often do black and white I prefer them to color this time. I love the classic look of them.

I am a very bad blogger. I’m still trying to find a balance with my work life and family life this summer. Juggling 4 kids, their activities, their friends, and all that come with that is not easy. I have so much I do want to share for the 1 or 2 people that visit my blog. Actually, I know from statcounter that it’s not just my mom that visits, and that makes me very happy. My goal now is to make it worth your while.
This is a session from earlier this spring. They took advantage of my twice yearly mini session offers. I love the bright cheery colors of their outfits along with their bubbly personalities.
