There are a few things that I’ve always wanted to do. One of them was to be at a deployed military homecoming. I’ve seen the pictures and video on the news. Everyone bursting with joy and happiness as they welcome their loved one gone for so long. When Janel called asking if I would photograph her husband coming home I jumped at the chance. It was all so new, and so fun to watch as these families gathered for the homecoming. The kids were so excited, the wives were cheering, and the waiting seemed to be killing them all. It was everything I thought it would be and more. I had such a good time putting together these photos for a slideshow. Please don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom and press play.
